Iron Eagle is a 1986 film starring Jason Gedric and Louis Gossett Jr. When his father is captured by a despotic Middle Eastern dictator, young Todd Masters (Gedric), already an experienced pilot, enlists the help of Colonel "Chappy" Sinclair to effectively steal two F-16s and attempt a rescue. Sinclair agrees to let Masters join him in the mission. Much like it's successor, [[Top Gun]], the film features a rock n' roll soundtrack.
