Mad Max: Beyond Thunderdome is the third film in the Mad Max series. It stars Mel Gibson as the title character and was directed by George Miller (director of the first two films) and George Ogilvie. The film also stars Tina Turner, Bruce Spence, Angry Anderson and Frank Thring. Max, once again wandering the Australian outback, comes across Bartertown, run by the treacherous Aunty Entity (Turner), and, after being exiled back to the desert, finds a community of kids who are trying to escape the wasteland for a better place to live.
